The Juniper EX-PWR-320-AC is a 320W AC Power Supply Unit (PSU) designed for the Juniper EX4200 Series of network switches. Let’s dive into the details:

• Compatibility: The EX-PWR-320-AC is compatible with Juniper Network Ethernet switches, specifically the EX 3200 and EX 4200 models.
• Output Power: It provides a total output power of 320 watts.
• Hot-Removable and Hot-Insertable: This field-replaceable unit (FRU) can be installed on the rear panel without powering off the switch or disrupting its operation.
• Redundancy: While the EX 4200 switches have an internal redundant power supply, the EX 3200 switches do not have built-in redundancy. However, you can connect an external power supply to an EX 3200 switch to achieve redundancy.
• DC Output Voltages: The power supply delivers 12V for system and logic power and 48–51V (or higher, compensating for voltage drops) for Power over Ethernet (PoE) ports.
• Models Available:
  • 320W Model: Flush with the chassis.
  • 600W Model and 930W Model: Extend out of the chassis by 2.25 inches.
• DC Power Supply: The EX 3200 and EX 4200 switches also offer a 190W DC power supply (non-PoE) with dual input feeds for power resiliency.
• Note: The DC power supply does not support PoE; for PoE devices, use an external power injector or an AC power supply.
• Terminal Labels: The DC power supply has terminals labeled A+, B+, A–, and B– for connecting DC power source cables.
• Minimum Power Requirements:
  • The minimum power requirement depends on the number of PoE-enabled ports. Each PoE port can receive a maximum of 15.4W.
