WS-X6716-10G-3CXL consists of 16 X2 10 Gigabit Ethernet fiber ports line card module for Cisco Catalyst 6500 series only. WS-X6716-10G-3CXL equipped with WS-X6716-10G and WS-F6700-DFC3CXL and primarily designed for Supervisor Engine 720 with 3CXL daughter card to support Cisco 6500 Virtual Switching System (VSS) 1440. WS-X6716-10G-3CXL is ideally suited for LAN campus aggregation and data center access. Users can configure 4 port groups of 4 ports each, each port group in either oversubscription mode or performance mode.
